NAGA Review: Does Autocopy Beat eToro, and What Does It Cost?
NAGA sells the same pitch as eToro, a social feed plus one-click copying, but prices copying differently: a flat fee plus a cut of profit rather than eToro's spread-only model. We tested what that actually costs.
Best for: Traders who want NAGA's crypto and payment app ecosystem, not traders chasing the lowest copying cost
NAGA's social feed and Autocopy work the way eToro's do, but the pricing does not: a profit fee on top of the spread and a spread that gets worse for smaller accounts make NAGA more expensive than eToro for most retail-sized portfolios. It is a real alternative, not a better one, unless a trader specifically wants NAGA's crypto and payment app extras.

Every social trading platform gets compared to eToro eventually, and NAGA invites the comparison directly: a public feed of traders, a one-click copy button, and a pitch built around following people instead of picking charts. We opened an account, copied two traders through Autocopy and tracked what NAGA actually deducts once a copied position turns a profit.
The copy fee eToro does not charge
This is the detail that separates the two platforms. eToro's CopyTrader function is free to use; the platform earns its money on the spread alone. NAGA does the opposite: Autocopy carries its own fee on top of the spread. Profit under 10 euros on a copied position costs a flat 0.99 euro fee. Cross that threshold and NAGA takes the 0.99 euro plus 5% of the total profit. Run that math on a string of small winning trades and the fixed fee eats a noticeable share of each one; run it on a single larger win and the 5% cut becomes the bigger number. Either way, a trader copying frequently on NAGA pays more in fees for the identical action that costs nothing extra on eToro.

Spreads get worse the smaller the account, not better
NAGA prices its own spread in tiers based on portfolio size, and the direction runs backward from what a new trader might expect. Accounts under 5,000 euros pay around 1.7 pips average on major pairs. Grow the portfolio past 5,000 euros and the average drops to roughly 1.2 pips. Only accounts above 50,000 euros reach the sharper 0.7-pip tier. A beginner funding a NAGA account with a few hundred dollars, exactly the trader copy trading is marketed toward, pays the widest spread NAGA offers. eToro does not structure its own forex pricing this way, and that gap matters more for NAGA's actual target customer than for the well-funded trader who could shop around regardless.
